Eva Kelly is a results-driven dental hygienist with a strong academic and clinical background in patient care, oral health promotion, and preventive dentistry. A graduate of University College Cork with a First Class Honours Diploma in Dental Hygiene, Eva was awarded both the TePe Award for the highest overall clinical grade in first year and the Colm O’Sullivan Gold Medal for best overall performance across the programme.
Before pursuing dental hygiene, Eva earned a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Galway, specialising in Microbiology and completing a bioinformatics research project exploring links between oral bacteria and cardiovascular disease.
Eva’s clinical experience spans both Ireland and the UK. She has worked in private practice in Galway, where she provides comprehensive hygiene treatments, periodontal therapy, patient education, and ongoing care planning. She also gained valuable experience as a Dental Nurse at SW1 Dental Studio in London, assisting with surgical procedures, sterilisation, and patient coordination.
Eva holds Irish Dental Council-approved certification in Dental Radiography and Basic Life Support (BLS). She is passionate about patient-centred care, preventive dentistry, and the integration of scientific knowledge into everyday practice.
